Waiting for the train We’re on the road again! Woohoo! Mom went shopping a couple weeks ago and came home with a brand new suitcase. Yesterday she got it out and started loading it up. Boy did I get excited. Something new to see, new places to go, we had to be heading somewhere! This [...] All weekend folks kept talking about Breakfast at Tiffany’s, so today we did have Breakfast at Tiffany’s! Mom was going to take a picture of me out in front of the restaurant but she forgot, so here’s one off a website. Mom said it was really good and the Tiffany lamps were beautiful. But [...] Day 3 was great. More music, more fun! I’m really starting to settle into this now. It’s so exciting but I don’t have to be in the middle of it ALL the time now (just sometimes. I think mom will be sad when this is over, she’s really enjoying it. Today I got to chase [...] Business meetings are boring. But the jam is fun! We had a great day! More music, more fun. I am meeting some of the greatest people here! My favorite is also one of mom’s favorite performers. I get so excited every time I see him. He’s so cool. I’m not quite sure why, but [...] Woohoo! We’re on the road again! And here’s one of the people I met today, one of Mom’s friends from SecondLife. This morning mom started packing again. She was rushing around trying to get everything ready. She’d been talking about going to a jam for weeks but I don’t really care about fruit and [...] October 9th – We got home today. Too bad, I so loved traveling! But before we left Joliet, mom took me to this park along the Des Plaines River. It was great! I got to chase the ball and then we walked along the river. Our camera did a lousy job of taking pictures [...] October 8th – Today we went to the Zoo! Normally I wouldn’t get to go to a Zoo. It’s not appropriate to take a Service Dog into a Zoo for my safety as well as that of the animals – it’s not a reasonable accommodation to put the animals in the zoo at risk [...] October 7th – Mom had a hard time pulling herself away from CMU, so we went back by there today. We found this incredible sculpture there. At least mom really likes it, I don’t see the point, it looks like people walking up in the air, and I can’t even smell the people. [...] October 6th – Well at least I kept mom warm. But it really wasn’t comfy sleeping in the car. We got up and drove the last couple hours to Pittsburgh, boy did the traffic get heavy again! It took us at least 3 hours what the GPS said would take about two. Oh remember [...] October 5th – Mom loves chocolate. So guess where she had to go today!?! Actually I love chocolate too but mom doesn’t let me eat any. One of the tour guides slipped her an extra bar just for me though – only he told her to eat it for me, it’s no fair! But [...] |
